Appointment Prep & After Care

Microblading

Please adhere to the following restrictions to ensure that your skin is prepped and ready for a great microblading experience.

  • If you have sensitive skin or a history or allergic reactions, please schedule a separate consultation to complete an allergy test so that we can check for any allergic reactions if necessary.

  • Please do not workout the day of the procedure as the body heat can expand pores.

  • Avoid heavy sunlight or overexposure. No sunburns within 5 days.

  • Skin should not be in the process of any healing before procedure. This includes rosacea, eczema, blemishes, peels, microdermabrasion and electrolysis.

  • Do NOT drink coffee or anything with caffeine the day of procedure.

  • Do NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and or Ibuprofen, and omega-3, unless medically necessary 48-72 hours prior to the procedure. (Tylenol or Acetaminophen is okay!)

  • Do NOT drink alcohol 24 hours before the procedure.

Please avoid the following treatments within 4 weeks of the procedure:

  • Botox or any other fillers

  • Chemical Peels

  • Laser Treatments

Lash Extensions

Please come with clean, makeup free lashes to ensure the best quality retention.

  • Avoid water, sweat, saunas and steam for the first 24-48 hours post application.

  • No waterproof mascaras, they will interfere with the adhesive and affect your lash retention. If you would like to use a mascara it needs to be waterbased and washable with soap and water.

  • No oils or makeup removers with oil.

**Ask about our Lash Bath Kits available for purchase to help keep your lashes clean and fresh to ensure longer lash life**

Brow After Care

You will need to kinda "baby" your brows for the first 10-14 days after the microblading procedure... Please try to follow the aftercare instructions as best as you can.

  • Do not let any water, lotion, soap, oils or make up touch your eyebrow area. Be extra careful when showering to keep your brows as dry as possible. Doing so, will help the pigment settle into the skin for longer lasting results.

  • No rubbing, picking or pulling the treated area will start to peel between day 3 & 5. PEELING AND ITCHING IS NORMAL DURING THE HEALING PROCESS.

  • Begin to apply healing ointment on day 5 post treatment. Please apply to brows at night time for 5 consecutive nights.  Do not use petroleum jelly or vaseline as it can cause a reaction and block the skin from breathing.

  • Keep hair away from your face and eyebrow area.

  • Avoid putting fingers over brows for at least 7 days as this could cause infection

  • No swimming, sauna, steam or exercise with excessive sweating for the next 10 days following procedure

  • No Sun beds, tanning, makeup or anti aging creams on the brow area for at least 10 days

The entire healing process will take from 4-6 weeks depending on your body's regeneration, age, immune system and  lifestyle.
